I DIDN'T START HERE
AND I DEFINITELY DIDN’T HAVE A PLAN
A few years ago, life looked completely different.
I was working a job that paid just enough to keep me there, trying to hold everything together, and quietly asking God if this was really all there was for me. It felt like I was stuck in a loop: show up, get through the day, go home, repeat.
I knew I wanted more, but I didn’t know what “more” actually looked like or how to get there.
Then one day, in the most random way, I heard something that stuck: if you want your life to change, you have to change. It wasn’t dramatic, but it was enough to shift something in me. I decided to stop waiting for things to happen and start moving differently.
That decision changed everything.

ONE “YES” TURNED INTO AN ENTIRE BUSINESS
Not long after that, my sister asked me to help with a logo.
I said yes before I fully understood what I was stepping into, but I knew I couldn’t keep saying no to opportunities. That one small yes opened a door I didn’t even know existed.
What started as a favor quickly turned into curiosity, and then into a full commitment to learning everything I could about design, branding, websites, and marketing. I realized I didn’t just enjoy creating—I loved building things that actually worked.
Things that helped people communicate clearly.
Things that helped them show up confidently.
Things that turned ideas into something real.
That journey became JOA Creative Lab, and later, Designed for Destiny.
